A real estate broker who has 15 consecutive years of combined licensure as a salesperson and as a broker and who is actively engaged in the real estate business as a real estate broker at the time of renewal will not be exempt. Attorneys admitted to the NYS Bar are exempt. Effective for renewals on or after July 1, 2021, the 22.5 hours must include at least three hours of instruction pertaining to fair housing and 1 Hour of Legal Update. We offer in class continuing education classes for salespeople and brokers in the morning and afternoon sessions. We try to keep tuition fees at a lower level in order to help agents and brokers to have affordable continuing education to satisfy the State requirements.
